13o Roster

The Sioux Falls POWER 13 team is under the direction of head coach, Wyatt Duehr and assistant coach, Zaccheaus Knutson.

Wyatt Duehr

Head Coach

Sioux Falls Power 13U Head Coach Wyatt Duehr grew up playing hockey in Sioux Falls and competed at the Tier 1 AAA level in Kansas City, Las Vegas, and Chicago.

Wyatt began coaching with Legend Hockey as a Player Development Coach, working with junior, collegiate, and professional athletes, before spending three seasons as an assistant coach with the Sioux Falls Jr. Stampede AAA U16 and U14 teams.

He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Minnesota State University, Mankato, followed by a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Belmont University in 2024. Wyatt currently works as a physical therapist at Avera Dells Area Hospital, bringing a unique perspective on athlete development, recovery, and injury prevention.

Outside of hockey and physical therapy, Wyatt enjoys spending time with his wife, Sydney, and their daughter, Ellie. Hockey has been a longtime family tradition, with his brother becoming the first South Dakota-born player to play in the NHL and score an NHL goal.

Zaccheaus Knutson

Assistant Coach

A lifelong hockey player, Zaccheaus Knutson began playing AAA hockey at age 14 and competed for organizations including Russell Stover, the Iowa Wild, Sioux Falls Junior Stampede, and the Colorado Tigers. Growing up in a strong hockey family, he was also surrounded by high-level hockey through his brother and cousin, who both went on to play Division I college hockey and professionally.

Entering his first season of coaching, he is excited to give back to the game that has played such an important role in his life. His goal is to help players grow both on and off the ice by building confidence, teamwork, discipline, accountability, resilience, and a genuine love for the game.

He is passionate about creating a positive environment where players can overcome challenges, learn from both success and failure, and develop skills and life lessons that extend far beyond the rink. He is grateful to the hockey community and those who helped shape him and looks forward to making a lasting, positive impact on the next generation of players.

"Our family moved from Alaska to South Dakota so our three boys could pursue their hockey goals, and choosing Sioux Falls Power has been one of the best decisions we’ve made. Our oldest is in his second season (16U and now 18U), our middle son plays 15O, and our youngest trains with the affiliated Legend Hockey program. Across all levels, we’ve seen consistent growth in hockey skills, habits, details, hockey sense, and confidence, along with strong character development."

"My son, Jimmy Egan’s season with Sioux Falls Power Tier 1 under Coach Noelle Needham was the most important year of his development, both as a hockey player and as a young man. Coach Noelle runs a professional, disciplined, and highly competitive program with a strong focus on both on-ice and off-ice development. It truly pushes every player beyond their limits."

"The Sioux Falls Power program was instrumental in Caleb's development on and off the ice. During his two years there, he received incredible coaching, a great environment for on-ice development, but more importantly, personal accountability on and off the ice. Coach Noelle challenges the players in different ways that prepare them for the next level."

"Sending our boys to Sioux Falls Power was one of the best decisions we made as a hockey family. It wasn’t always the easiest path, Brody had to leave the comfort of high school hockey his senior year, but it was absolutely the right one. That season at 18U AAA unlocked another level for him, prepared him for junior hockey and he’s now playing college hockey at Elmira."

"Our son Easton Johnson was part of the Power family for 4 years. He played u13 all the way thru u16. In terms of opportunity and growth as a person and a player, you couldn’t ask for more from a program. From the skill and skating work to overall knowledge of the game, makes you a better player in every way. Also being a tier one program gives you a chance to play the best competition and gives you an opportunity to be noticed by scouts. We will be forever grateful for what the Sioux Falls Power program has done for our family."

"The Sioux Falls Power hockey club is best in class and can be a trusted development step in your son's hockey career. My son, Aidan played for the Power program beginning at his U13 through U16 years before moving on to the WHL, now playing as a 17 yo, for the Calgary Hitmen. He was also a gold medal winner as a player on the U18 US Men’s National Hlinka-Gretzky team in the summer of 2025."
