Sioux Falls POWER Hockey's Dane Montgomery Commits to University of North Dakota

Sioux Falls, SD - The Sioux Falls Power Hockey Tier 1 Program is proud to announceDane Montgomery (’02) of Grand Forks, ND, has made a Division 1 commitment to the University of North Dakota.

Montgomery, a 5’9”, 165lb Forward, is a draft pick of the Sioux Falls Stampede and was recently named to their 30-man roster. In addition to being drafted in the USHL, Montgomery, represented USA at the 5 Nations tournament in Slovakia this past August, being named assistant captain and earning a bronze medal. Montgomery is entering his first season with the Sioux Falls Power Hockey Tier 1 Program.

“Dane Montgomery is a consummate competitor who loves the game of hockey. He is a dynamic forward that plays a hard, responsible 200ft game. In addition to how hard Dane competes, he has a very good skill set and is a great skater, which makes him a legitimate threat every single shift. The University of North Dakota is getting a young man with outstanding character that also has an elite work ethic. We are proud to have Dane in the Sioux Falls Power Hockey program,” said 16U Head Coach, Noelle Needham.

The Sioux Falls Power Hockey Tier 1 program is based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota providing Tier 1 teams at the 14U, 15, 16U & 18U levels.
